We provide dental care for individuals that find it difficult to receive care from an ordinary dental practice due to learning difficulties, medical issues or anxiety for example individuals with autism, dementia and a phobia of visiting the dentist. Within the service, we have access to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, inhalational sedation, intravenous sedation, general anaesthesia and acupuncture to help individuals in coping with dental treatment.
Abingdon Dental Clinic is open part time but it is possible to speak to one of our staff at the head office if the clinic is not open.
Please phone the clinic to check opening times in advance to avoid any wasted journeys
The clinic treats a wide range of individuals including adults, children, elderly and those with physical or mental health issues
All of our staff are DBS checked and undergo regular safeguarding training for children and vulnerable adults. Dentists working in Abingdon have a qualification in dentistry as do the dental nurses.
