Activity/serviceWe provide dental care for individuals that find it difficult to receive care from an ordinary dental practice due to learning difficulties, medical issues or anxiety for example individuals with autism, dementia and a phobia of visiting the dentist. Within the service, we have access to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, inhalational sedation, intravenous sedation, general anaesthesia and acupuncture to help individuals in coping with dental treatment. Dentists working in Abingdon have a qualification in dentistry as do the dental nurses.
