Activity

We are a campaigning group, dedicated to keeping the Abingdon Outdoor Pool in the forefront of of the Council's awareness that this is a greatly valued health amenity in Abingdon. At present we are asking the Vale of White Horse District Council to extend the opening season of of the pool to at least its former period of 100 days from Spring Bank Holiday to first weekend in September. We also want the Pool recognised as a health facility in the Joint Local Plan 2041.

We help

We aim to promote health and well being, including mental health, for all the family, for all age groups, for all levels of physical ability in the wonderful setting of a fine outdoor pool beside the River Thames. This includes swimming, diving, fun, laughter. Plus cafe for light refreshments.
