You only have to do an internet search to see that singing provides a wide range of benefits from physical to emotional to social (for instance, see here). Many of our members are coping with stressful lives and their evening with the choir gives them time to escape every day worries and experience the joy of making music in a friendly, safe atmosphere. Members often comment that developing their singing skills and performing with the group has boosted their confidence levels. SafeguardingOur Child Protection Policy requires any young person under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.
