Scottish Country dancing
Scottish Country dancing is healthy as it is good exercise, very sociable, and mind stretching since many of the dances are quite complex. Experienced dancers are expected to partner beginners and those who are not so quick to learn, and to change partners after each dance. The dances require much physical contact in the form of taking hands and dancers are encouraged to look up at those they are dancing with .. and smile
When/where we meet
Mondays 7:45 - 10 pm at The Northcourte Centre, Northcourt Rd, Abingdon OX14, in term time.
Adults who are physically able to dance. The club's primary purpose is for the enjoyment and promotion of Scottish country dancing. We welcome beginners, but we don't have the resources to provide, except possibly as one off sessions, for those with any special needs
