The Ground

This is a rectangular area of about 310m by 80m in size.

The main part of the park is a large open area containing two football pitches, a basketball court, adult exercise equipment and a children's playground.  These are all well maintained. There is pleasant long wooded area to the north of the ground running alongside Caldecott Road.

The Wantage to Abingdon canal once ran alongside Caldecott Road and its path is now delightful shady walk lined with horse-chestnut trees
