Sleep Well to Keep Well

Thursday 3rd June, 7-8pm

Zoom talk led by sleep researcher, David Ray.

He will tell us all about the importance of sleep answering many questions including:

  • What are the effects of poor sleep, lack of sleep and altered sleep patterns?
  • Can shift work or night-working affect the body's sleep system?
  • What are the lesser-known effects of lack of sleep?
  • How sleep patterns from infancy, through adolescence and then into later life.
  • How and why do these changes take place?
  • How to get a better night's sleep?

There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions - so please do have your questions ready, either to ask in person or using the chat box.

If possible, please register by e-mail ahead of time (HealthyAbingdon@aol.com).  But we understand that this is not always possible. Please do join us if you can, whether or not you can pre-register.
