Two cafés in Abingdon reserve tables at regular times for people with dementia and their carers to socialise and feel welcomed.  Dementia Friends will be there to welcome people. People with mild cognitive impairment are also welcome. The two cafés are 35 Ock Street and the The Barns Café on Northcoart road.  Christmas closures in red.

  • 35 Ock Street - every Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 am (but not 28th December)
  • The Barns Café - first and third Tuesday in the month from 2:30 to 3:30 pm (but not 1 January)

This is part of the initiative being taken by Healthy Abingdon to make the town more dementia friendly.
